TLS 1.0 and 1.1 Deprecation for Webhook Endpoints
Scheduled for Oct 10, 20:00 - 21:00 UTC
Scheduled
On Tuesday, October 10th 2023, at 20:00 UTC, we will be deploying a change that disables support for TLS 1.0 or 1.1 in connections to webhook endpoints, as well as deprecating a number of insecure cipher suites. If you have any webhook endpoints that only communicate over TLS 1.0 or 1.1, these will cease to function, and you will need to update all connections to be compatible with TLS 1.2 or newer and secure cipher suites. For endpoints that support TLS 1.2 or newer, there is no anticipated impact.

TLS 1.0 and 1.1 have been formally deprecated as reliable cryptographic protocols by the IETF (https://therecord.media/ietf-officially-deprecates-tls-1-0-and-tls-1-1/) and all major browsers have dropped support for these protocols already. In an effort to constantly improve our security posture, we are deprecating support for TLS 1.0/1.1, and requiring secure cipher suites to be used.
